Var en ganske kald natt til i dag, så snø forholdene var fantastiske å gå på i dag. Ganske mye vind og temperaturer rundt 0 grader hele dagen. Så vi hadde god bruk for tarpen når vi hadde lunsj.
Vi startet litt før Lukas, men han dro oss fort igjen. Litt senere fant vi han sitte nedgravd i et hull, for vindly, og spise lunsj. 10 minutter hadde han brukt på å bygge seg en liten snøgrop å sitte i. Utrolig inspirerende og fascinerende å se!
Vi slo opp telt ca halvveis til Sandhaug. Lukas skulle fortsette og prøve å gå til hytta. Etter Sandhaug så går rutene våre forskjellige veier, han skal til Geilo mens gi til Finse. Vi får se om vi rekker å komme til hytta før han reiser. Ellers vært utrolig trivelig å gå parallelt med Lukas, prate og spille spill på hyttene.
English translation of (above) text: Was a pretty cold night until today, so snow conditions were wonderful to walk on today. Quite a lot of wind and temperatures around 0 degrees C (32F) all day, so we had good use for the tarp when we had lunch.
We started out a little before Lukas, but he quickly caught up. A little later we found him sitting buried in a hole, for wind shelter, and eating lunch. He had spent 10 minutes building a small snow pit to sit in. Incredibly inspiring and fascinating to watch!
We pitched a tent about halfway to Sandhaug. Luke will continue and try to go to the cabin. After Sandhaug, our routes go different ways, he goes to Geilo while we go to Finse. We’ll see if we can get to the cabin before he leaves. Otherwise, it’s been incredibly pleasant to walk in parallel with Lukas, chat and play games at the cabins.
