Helt herlig å gå i. Morsomt å møte masse folk på stien her.
English translation: Before we finished breakfast, Agnieszka had already packed up and was off. We were hoping to see her at the cabin when she was going to take a smaller leg today, and maybe a day off there tomorrow. Knowing about the thunderstorm that was on its way, we also got started for what for us is quite early. It is quite laid out for us to this cabin so we will see if we meet again.
The path from Nedalshytta was incredibly nice! Lots of planks where there were bogs and rivers, and otherwise nice and flat terrain. Absolutely lovely to walk in. Incredibly hot weather, although there was a lot of rain as well. Fun to meet lots of people on the trail here. It is clear that this is a popular area. We had to do some wading so the shoes are soaked.
Ate lunch before the rain and thunder was coming, we actually got the Internet here at the top and see that the thunderstorm was canceled on the weather forecast. Tired after many long days, we camped between the cabins today.
In the evening the wind blew so hard that some of the tent stakes were pulled up, then there was a break in the wind and rain to get the tent fixed so we were sure that the tent could stand well overnight in bad weather up here on the mountain. Glad we have a tent that can withstand a big storm. It has really been necessary. It rained and blew a lot all night.
👍👍👍😀
Loved your fantastic pictures today! Grass on the roof is pretty cool, Benjamin laying alone in the great wide open, and all of the boardwalks are so cool… We hiked on boardwalks for part of our hike to Kvalvika Beach on the Lofoten Islands.
Thanks Carol. Yeah, it was such a beautiful leg. The boardwalk made it so nice to cross all the swamps, it’s great! Just too bad it’s for such a small period 😊 Sylan was definitely a beautiful leg. Loved this part 😀
It didn’t blow at all in the trees 😉
Yeah, in these conditions that would be preferable. We just couldn’t make it any longer that day, and no trees to hide behind 😏
