Våknet opp til tett tåke her oppe på fjellet. Flott sti ned til Storerikvollen, mye planker og fint terreng. Møtte mye folk på stien, så ser at dette er en skikkelig populær sti.
Møtte også på Thea og Espen som gikk Norge på tvers, med eget telt og oppakning. Sto å pratet litt med de og det var veldig koselig. De hadde gått masse i gjørme til knærne og hatt mye regn. Vi ønsker de masse lykke til videre på veien over flotte Sylan, her er det heldighvis en flott sti og mindre gjørme. Kos dere!
Selv om vi ikke hadde gjørme til knærne så ble vi ganske gjørmete på stien ned til hytta. Når vi kom frem ble det full rens av både sko, sokker og bukse. Håper alt tørker greit til i morgen. Var ganske dyrt å sove på hytta, da det var samme pris for eget rom som å sove på sovesal, så ble til at vi puttet teltet opp på utsiden av hytta istedenfor. Her fikk vi tatt oss en dusj og sittet foran peisen og spilt kortspill med et svensk vennepar som gikk rundt i området.
English Translation: Woke up to dense fog up here on the mountain. Great path down to the Storerikvollen, lots of planks and nice terrain. Met a lot of people on the trail, so we see that this is a really popular trail.
Also met Thea and Espen who walked across Norway, with their own tent and packing. We stood and chatted with them for a bit and it was very pleasant. They had walked a lot in knee-deep mud and had a lot of rain. We wish them the best of luck on their journey over beautiful Sylan, here, if you’re lucky, there’s a great path and less mud. Enjoy yourselves!
Although we didn’t have mud up to our knees, we got quite muddy on the path down to the cabin. When we arrived, shoes, socks and trousers were thoroughly cleaned. Hope everything dries well by tomorrow. It was quite expensive to sleep in the cabin, as it was the same price for a private room as sleeping in a dormitory, so we ended up pitching the tent on the outside of the cabin instead. Here we had a shower and sat in front of the fireplace and played card games with a couple of Swedish friends who were walking through the area.
